Matcha isn’t mass-produced, it’s a craft. Our craft. And that craft is now under strain, with fewer hands to tend the fields and unpredictable weather disrupting the rhythm of each season.

At NIWA, we’re proud to be rooted in Uji, working directly with local farms to ensure our matcha stays pure, fresh, and true to tradition. Despite the industry-wide shortage, our close partnerships allow us to maintain consistent quality and fair pricing for our community.
